This is Aria. She's my favorite character of all time. Not only is she the most useful of my characters but she's married to the best X-Man of them all - Gambit.

Pseudo-Telepathy (Typical)

Weaknesses: Physical limitation

Geneva's powers work best when he is in contact with the subject. If she is not physically touching the machine or person she is trying to communicate with/control, then her power level drops two ranks.

Psychological Limitation

Until recently, Geneva had to sing to effectively use her Mind Control power. She has learned while training at Xavier's School that she can speak her commands just as effectively.

Telepathy

Geneva's telepathy works by sending electrical impulses to the brain that mimic the ones sent by the ears. Thus, she can send voices (hers or another she knows well) or other sounds to a target. The pseudo-telepathy is one-way only. She cannot read minds. Probably due to the fact that her telepaths cannot recieve signals from her.

Number of targets

Currently, Geneva can only affect one person or machine at a time. Though sometimes she can do stunts where she can control 2 people at a time.

Equipment: Songstaff

Songstaff deals Excellent (20) damage if sung to sometime within the hour, if not its just based off Aria's strength. It has Amazing (50) material strength.

Jean-Luc LeBeau (leader of New Orleans Thieves Guild & Geneva's father-in-law.)

History: Bertie and Minna Jeeves were the founding members of their Huntington Beach, California branch of what would eventually become the Friends of Humanity. They had their three-year-old daughter Geneva scanned in order to confirm her genetic purity and (surprise, surprise!) she turned out to have mutant genes. From then until about her tenth year of life, Geneva's life was a nightmare of physical, emotional and mental abuse.

Then she got hit by a car.

This turned out to be a good thing, for driving the car was Donna-Jean Doheny, the wife of a doctor fresh out of residency at the local hospital. Geneva wasn't seriously hurt by the brush with the vehicle, just knocked to the ground and banged up a bit. Donna-Jean's insistence that the girl see her husband Clyde revealed bruises and scars left by her fanatical parents' constant abuse. Clyde & Donna-Jean Doheny didn't even hesitate-they reported the Jeeves and applied for the right to adopt Geneva.

What followed was a landmark case that was reported worldwide-the infamous "Child X" adoption case. It was revealed in court that Geneva-or "Child X"-was a mutant and hotly debated whether she should be allowed to be taken from her natural parents. Also, if she was, should normal human people should be allowed to adopt her? (Although her adoptive father, Dr. Doheny, is a mutant, this fact never came out in the court case.)

In order to help win their case, the Dohenys hired young Matthew Murdock to argue the case for them. With Matt heading up the legal team for the Doheny's, Geneva was eventually taken from the Jeeves and legally adopted by Clyde & Donna-Jean. (Geneva still has the occasional nightmare about the Jeeves and their "tender loving care"; and the Jeeves, while they don't mind being rid of their mutant offspring, are sore losers just on the sheer principle of the matter.

The Doheny family moved away from California and relocated to New York in order to escape the infamy generated by the "Child X" case, settling down in Piney Knoll, a small town about twenty miles north of New York City. Dr. Doheny runs a very busy and successful practice in his new home town-thanks to the aid of his low-level mutant ability to heal others physically and mentally (can heal up to an Excellent amount of damage per day) They still keep in touch with Matthew Murdock.

Nine years later, Geneva is a lovely young woman with a love of performing-in fact, it was her stint with doing summer stock with a local acting troupe that featured deaf players that convinced her to pursue a career in acting. She's going to ESU on a performing arts scholarship as a theater major, with a minor in computers. When Geneva reached puberty, she found that she could sway people to do her bidding through her singing voice, and as they developed, through her speaking voice.

Geneva's mental powers also extend to computers and all things cybernetic, though this manifestation isn't as powerful as her control of human targets.

Appearance:

Geneva wears a full-body costume. She wears a green hood that covers her entire head, including her hair, a black shirt and pants, green gloves, and green shoes. Not a bit of skin showing.

Aria's has a costume change recently -

Aria new & improved!

That picture was drawn by Michael Franzese, a friend of Zan, the former Game Master of New Guard (formally ESU.) Now I'm the GM! EEK!

Remy & Geneva, eternal love.

The Real Mr. & Mrs. LeBeau!

This is my favorite picture of Aria with her husband, Gambit. Isn't it awesome? My friend Joe Lavis drew it for me. This picture rules! This is the woman Remy LeBeau was meant to be with. Not that worthless twit that Marvel keeps sticking the poor man with. Gambit aka Remy LeBeau property of Marvel Comics, blah blah blah - oh heck, it's not like I'm making money on this site. Heh. Aria is my property - unless Marvel becomes interested in her. Yeah - that'll be the day! LOL Oh, and read the new Gambit series by Fabian Nicieza - IT RULES!

Gen's parents have CSes too.

History: Donna-Jean was born in Greece to her American father and Greek mother, but at the age of 5 her family moved to California. Donna-Jean lived the typical happy life. Growing up in the suburbs with nothing more then the occasional bump or bruise to shake up her days. Then when she was 13 her best friend was revealed as a mutant. Donna-Jean watched in horror as her friend fought against the FOH - and lost. Gunned down in front of her own house as Donna-Jean watched in horror.

Donna-Jean's parents never raised her to hate mutants. Instead they taught her how it was wrong to hate mutants.

When Donna-Jean was 25 she found she had cancer in her uterus and ovaries. Only a full hysterectomy would save her. While there she met a young resident named Clyde Doheny - they married even though he was a mutant.

Donna-Jean was sad she could never give her husband a child, but then one day her car hit young Geneva Jeeves and their lives changed forever when a young mutant entered their lives....

Powers: Healing Clyde can, by touch, heal up to a Remarkable (30) amount of damage per day in any increments. However he must right away go to sleep. After a rest, he regains this ability at 10 points her half-hour. However, if this power is used continuously, the amount the gets back per hour is reduced by 2 points per time used (cumulative) (for example, he normally gets 10 points back per half-hour of rest. if his power is used again right away, he only regains 8 points per half-hour until back to full, then 6 if used right away again, down to a minimum of 2 points per half-hour)

Talents: Medical knowledge

History: Clyde was a gifted child, often skipping grades. He and his brother grew up happy even though both were mutants. Their parents didn't give a damn and loved them. Clyde knew his talent for healing meant he was fated to be a doctor and geared all his studies towards it. Working hard.

Clyde was interning in a Californian hospital when he met the love of his life. Donna-Jean. She was recovering from a complete hysterectomy. They were married in the hospital chapel and settled into a happy life together.

Then one day Donna-Jean brought a scrawny 10 year old girl in. She had hit the child with her car. Clyde began to examine her, finding almost no damage other then some bruises and scraps - what he did find, however, was horrifying evidence of past and current abuse. Angered beyond belief, Clyde called the police and soon was suing for the right to adopt little Geneva Jeeves. Calling in lawyer Matt Murdock to help him and starting the infamous Child X Case. It was one of the happiest days of his life when he and Donna-Jean walked out of that courtroom with Geneva.

Clyde's brother, meanwhile, was hiding a dark secret. He was gay. He had married and had a son - a mutant with a shape-shifting ability - to hide what he was. Finally, unable to take it anymore, Clyde's brother hung himself.

When he was abducted by agents of the New Son in order to get Aria's cooperation, Clyde realized he enjoyed this super hero business. However he returned to his medical practice until the villain known as Kingpin revealed his and Geneva's mutant status. Clyde's practice and home where burnt down and they came to live at Xavier's School. Now he and Donna-Jean train to take up the fight as super heroes.

If only Donna-Jean wasn't so much better at it then him!
